Tennis professional Maximilian Marterer has secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Antwerp, marking his first appearance in this stage since January. The 28-year-old athlete from Nuremberg clinched a victory with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (7:3) during Thursday’s match at the European Open, defeating the Portuguese player Nuno Borges, who had previously eliminated Dominik Koepfer of Furtwangen in the tournament’s opening round.
