“We played really well in that nationally televised game, I remember it was against the Bucks and they had a top-notch roster of players, but we won the game and it created a buzz and people were chanting the Kings’ name,” Sabonis said.
“It’s probably a bit of a shame for the fans because in reality, we’ve worked tirelessly all season. A nationally televised game would have given us more exposure and it would have been great to showcase the city of Sacramento to a national audience as much as possible.”
