The Knicks are on the verge of signing free agent guard Obadiah Noel to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to US journalist Michael Steto.
The contract holds special significance for Noel, as it is the first NBA contract he has been awarded in his career. He has been playing in the Developmental League since falling in the 2021 draft.
Last season, Noel played for the Knicks’ Development League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks, contributing 10.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game on 48.7 percent shooting in 29 games.
